Q:
What is the difference between your Fabric
and the competition?
A: Our Fabric is made out of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)
with one of the Highest and Heaviest Fabric available. We
use a minimum of 280gsm, most times we use 320gsm (Metric
Grams per square meter). Those fabrics are used for commercial
Grade Sails and last much longer. They do not sag over time
and can be used for Year round protection in areas with no
or minimum Snow Load.

Q: What sizes are available?
A: We offer 11.5 feet and 16.5 feet in Triangle and 11.5 feet
in Square |
Q: What Colors are available?
A: We offer Sand, Rust and Dark Green. We try to add more Color
options in the Future. |
Q: Do you offer Custom Made Sails (Sizes, Colors)?
A: No at this time we only offer ready-made Sails in the Sizes
of 11.5 feet and 16.5 feet |
Q: Hi! Is this something you would set up and leave up all
summer? Or do you take it down when not in use? Just wondering,
if we set it up for the summer months only (we live in MI) would
we be able to get at least 3 summers use out of it? Thanks a
bunch!
A: Shade Sails in common are not build to take heavy Snow loads.
Our Sails have a minimum UV Protection of 5 years. You should
get at least 8 to 10 years out of our Sails. |
Q: What size posts do you recommend for these?
A: We prefer to use schedule 40mm (2.0inch) galvanized steel
pipe embedded in concrete footings. If timber posts are used,
then we generally use temporary power poles with a preservative
added to the wood. |
Q: How much wind can they take?
A: A max wind load of 70mph if they are fastened the right way. |
Q: Are your Sails waterproof?
A: No - quality Sails are made out of HDPE
(High Density Polyethylene) with a UV Protection
Coding and are knitted,
not woven, so
they still give you a Cool Breeze. Cheaper
Sails made out of plastic material like
Awnings and do not have the advantage of
Solprotec Sails.
|

Q: Do I have to pay Import Fees?
A: If your Country charges Import Tax then you are responsible
for those Taxes. |
Q: I live in your Area - can I pick the Sails up?
A: Unfortuanally we do not have a local pickup yet - since we
ship from different Warehouses around the Country. |
Q: Can I pay with Credit Card?
A: We prefer PayPal payments, but we accept payments with Credit
Cards through PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal Account. |
